This app helps you turn your own study notes or textbook chapter into realistic History assessment practice. Upload a PDF, get a question in the style used for secondary school History assessment, answer it, and receive feedback modelled on real assessment criteria — with a copy you can bring to your teacher.
You need:
No account, sign-up, or API key is needed — the AI features are built into the site.
The app moves through four steps, shown at the top of the screen: 01 UPLOAD → 02 STUDY → 03 ANSWER → 04 REVIEW.
Enter a subject / topic title, then tap the upload area (or drag a file onto it) to choose your study material as a PDF. Once both are filled in, click Begin studying →.
Your PDF is rendered on-screen, page by page. From here you can:
Use ← Go back to main page at any point to restart with a different topic or file.
The question is broken into three sub-parts — (a), (b), (c) — each with its own mark allocation, mirroring real assessment papers. Some questions reference a source passage shown alongside the sub-parts. Answer each part in its own box, then click Submit for marking →. If a part is left blank, you'll be told which one before continuing.
You can go ← Back to studying, or click Generate a different question to try another.
You'll see a marks badge, an "AI Reviewed — Teacher Check Advised" stamp, an overall comment, feedback broken down part by part, and pointers toward a stronger set of answers. From here:
By default, the app uses AI access built into the site itself — nothing to configure, no key required. If you'd rather use your own API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, or DeepSeek), open Settings via the gear icon, choose a provider, and enter your key. This is optional.
